This happened….

We cried when we heard the news.  Yes, tears of joy!  Six year old piano student Rosanna Foss is going to Carnegie Hall in November! She said “it’s my dream to go to Carnegie Hall!” I think she will continue to have that dream, and many more.

Wow, students and parents are crazy for music lessons!  Bring it on!  We’ve got this!  Prime spots are filling up for this summer and fall!  So exciting!  Teaching piano has always been fulfilling and there are so many success stories.  Students move on to play other instruments, compose, perform and music study helps to create great focusing tools and study habits that cross over into other subjects and professions.

These past couple years I’ve continued to compose for film, help non-profit music organizations, experience the highs and lows, and keep striving towards an independent music career.  I am so very grateful!  It takes a wonderful triangle between student, parents and teacher, and I have that with every student and family. It’s such a pleasure to teach, and it warms my heart that you are dedicated and share the small and large milestones with excitement and encouragement.

Thank you to my professional colleagues for opportunities in a variety of productions and capacities!  I’ve learned so much!  Always the constant student!  And….I created a score for a short dark comedy ‘The Golden Years’ for film maker Erlend Palm, in Norway!  The web is so amazing…..

Don’t wait….lessons are being booked like a happy crazy dance!  Call me!

All the best and go see some live concerts!
