Since April, I have changed residence, scored a film that went to Cannes, landed an awesome position as Program Director for the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra, beginning August 2013, and composing an original big band piece, entitled ‘Bring It Home’, performance in Seattle, WA, August 2013. This will be a first for me as I’ve written for smaller jazz ensembles and orchestral film scores. My first virtual score for the film ‘INJUN’ went to Cannes and has world-wide distribution with a release date in August 2013 as well! Looks like August will be a very big month for me professionally! I am so very honored to work with the wonderful LA Youth Orchestra ~ it is truly my passion being a part of organizations nurturing young musical artists, no matter what their futures hold, they will have love, appreciation and knowledge of many composers and musical works. So important in our lives today! Please help support the Arts ~ attend a concert, support music education at home and in your local schools, go to an art gallery, take a walk in the park, forest, or go to the beach.
