Thank you all for such a great year of piano and music! We had so many opportunities and just keep creating new ones. This next year promises to be another one of growth, musical strides and more fun! Last year we participated in Certificate of Merit (MTAC), National Piano Guild Auditions (NGPT) and several recital opportunities from fund raisers at Barnes & Nobles to Los Medonas college recitals! It was a busy year!
This upcoming season promises to be just as busy, with even more opportunities. Parents, be prepared to hear Baroque music, Halloween music, Holiday music early on in our studies as we plan new ensemble and themed events! Early in 2020 our festivals and testing begins so does even more preperation! It’s a whilrwind! Make time! Keep practicing!
Next year I’ll be adding the opportunity to participate in ABRSM testing (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music). Sounds fancy! This repertoire and curriculum is challenging, broad yet fun! There are testing centers in the Bay Area. We’re also adding on festival opportunities for MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) with CAPMNT being the local branch for California. They do some fun things too! Especially ensemble playing!
Interviews and Registration for new and recurring students begins on June 30-July 10th. There is room for more students so come join our growing and dedicated group of pianists, composers and all around musicians! New student interviews begin June 29th. Hope to hear from you soon!
