Working on several musical ideas, some for a movie and a new jazz ensemble piece. The process of getting it all in concrete musical form so that musicians can play it, it actually sounds great and meet a due date are always a challenge! Meeting the due date is key – and sometimes you just have to turn in what you have! As creative people, when are we ever totally satisfied with our creations? Thank goodness for projects that have a ‘date’ otherwise we may never give anything! With that in mind – off to the studio to create, become pleasantly stressed, fine tune and do it again!
I like “pleasantly stressed” — a perfect way to express it.
Hey Barbara – my single follower! 🙂 It’s that kind of ‘stress’ that propels us forward. I think without that, most of us wouldn’t do anything! It also seems to balance out the stresses of life experience itself. Like a good workout, playing tennis or pètanque! I’m looking forward to seeing you in a tournament soon!
